The bucket cylinder comprises a cylinder body, a piston rod and a piston, wherein the piston is assembled in the cylinder body, one end of the piston rod extends into the cylinder body from outside of the cylinder body and is matched and connected with the piston, the other end of the piston rod extends out of the cylinder body, oil ports are formed in the piston rod, and oil channels are formed axially in the piston rod and correspond to the oil ports. According to the scheme, the bucket cylinder of the middle-sized hydraulic excavator can adapt to a series of complicated and changeable working conditions such as high temperature, high speed and high probability of splash of molten steel of a steel mill, meanwhile, the production cost of the bucket cylinder is saved, the working performance of the bucket cylinder is improved well, and the service life of the bucket cylinder is prolonged well.
Hydraulic cylinders in an excavator work by using pressurised hydraulic fluid to generate a force that can be used to manoeuvre the excavator and move the boom, dipper and bucket. The control valve is used to control the flow of fluid into the cylinder, allowing the operator to move the boom, dipper and bucket with precision.
